Prue Carr is a leading specialist in family photography and has been documenting Melbourne's babies and children for over 25 years. She is as celebrated today for her beautiful baby, child and family images as she was in those pre-digital days. Indeed her very early 'baby clients' are these days returning with their own families to be photographed. Prue works from her studio and garden in the Melbourne suburb of Beaumaris.
Your preferences and her knowledge of what works for children of different ages are taken into consideration when planning the shoot. The duration of the actual session varies, but please allow a minimum of one hour. Newborn baby sessions may be as long as 3 or 4 hours and should take place while the baby is less than two weeks old. Prue captures many, many images during the session. A few days later the best of these are available for viewing online. A personal viewing is then arranged for you at her studio to work with Prue in designing and ordering the final photos and other product choices.
Each small final image is presented to you matted and can be easily placed in a ready-made frame. Larger images (be they wall prints, posters, clusters or even stretched canvas) can be framed in-house by 'Framescapes', run by Prue's partner Bob, the grandpa of Edie, Jasper, Milla and Mischa.
Bob and Prue work together to give you final products that will delight you, the grandparents and family and friends forever more.
